Symptoms:

Cause:

Worn, eroded end plugs allow loss of critical hydraulic pressure.

Correction:

Sonnax O-ringed end plugkit restores correct circuit pressures. The O-ringed end plugs provide additional sealing to prevent hydraulic loss.

WARNING!

Some BMXA units have been found with plugs which have smaller diameter clip-grooves and narrower retainers as shown here. Sonnax end plugs will not work in these applications.

Valve bore plugs on Honda/Acura 4-speed, 3-shaft, and 5-speed valve bodies wear and allow critical CPC and solenoid feed oil to leak to exhaust, leading to low CPC pressures and soft or inconsistent shifts. Sonnax O-ringed end plug kit 98892-01K replaces the worn OE end plugs and restores critical circuit pressures.
